As an Architect, what is the minimum service that you can provide? |

The North Carolina Architectural Board mandates the minimum service, called the “standard of care”, that we as Architects must provide. This ensures that you have a complete and thorough set of plans in which to build your project. |

Why do I need an Architect? |

There are several reasons to choose an Architect to help you with your project. First, your project is more than just a building, it is an investment. A licensed architect should be used to help protect your investment and help you get the most for your money. Another reason you should choose an Architect is because it is the law on a commercial project that exceeds 2,500 square feet or $90,000 in value. Also, an unlicensed designer is not held liable for any mistake they may have made, whereas an Architect is held liable, accountable, and must be insured as required by law. |
